Cecilia began her martial arts journey at the age of 4, starting with the Olympic sport of Taekwondo. In 2010, she transitioned to Brazilian Jiujitsu, which greatly contributed to her personal growth; instilling discipline, respect and a positive life perspective.
To develop a well rounded BJJ game, she started training Judo in 2013. Her passion for competition fuelled her athletic pursuits, while also teaching her the importance of discipline and performing at a high level. She became a 3X Canadian Judo National Champion from 2016 to 2017.
